I finally tried using Photoshop! I liked the picture, but since the background was green too, the plant didn't stand out very much. So we thought about using this B&W with a color. Not bad for the first time, what do you think?

Despite the hot weather, I always enjoy a walk to the Botanic Garden. Since it is close to where I play mahjong, I went for a walk in the morning and took some pictures.

Last Monday I had a busy day. I resumed my Chinese class in the morning, and played mahjong for the first time in the afternoon, it was fun! In the evening I had a book club meeting, so I had a few spare hours, but it wasn't worth it to go home. Since the botanic garden is nearby were I was and it had stopped raining (yes! It started raining yesterday!!), a walk was a good option to spend my time.

El lunes pasado tuve un dia muy entretenido. Hemos vuelto a empezar con las clases de Chino por las mañanas, y por la tarde aprendi a jugar al mahjong, que divertido! Por la tarde tenia una reunion de un club de lectura, asi que tenia unas horas libres, y no merecia la pena irme a casa. Como el botanic garden esta cerca de donde estaba yo, y habia dejado de llover (si!! ayer empezo a llover!!), irme a dar un paseo por alli era una buena opcion.

I went to the Botanic Garden with the AWA photography group, and we entered the Orchid Garden. There were some horses' heads as CNY decoration but I didn't like them that much... At least this one had the whole body. And again more tangerines.

He estado en el Botanic Garden con el grupo de fotografia del AWA, y hemos entrado en el Jardin de Orquideas. Tambien alli habia decoracion del Año Nuevo Chino, aunque eran unas cabezas de caballo clavadas en una fuente y no me han gustado mucho.... Al menos este tiene todo el cuerpo. Y de nuevo mas mandarinas.
