I hadn't posted any picture yet, but we didn't miss the Fushimi Inari-taisha. Even tough we had already seen so many Shrines next to every temple, it was was very impressive to see this long path of shrines.

Aun no habia puesto ninguna foto, pero si que estuvimos en el Fushimi Inari-taisha. Aunque ya habiamos visto muchas de estas puertas (shrines) al lado de cada templo, empresionaba mucho ver todo este camino de shrines.

Back in Japan. I liked that many people used the bike. We rented bikes one day, and it was really fun. But after more than a year without riding one, it left me stiff!

De vuelta en Japon. Me gusto mucho que mucha gente se movia en bicicleta por la ciudad. Nosotros alquilamos unas bicis durante un dia, y fue muy divertido. Pero despues de mas de un año sin montar en bici, al dia siguiente tenia agujetas!

Kimonos are beautiful! If I ever return to Japan, I will at least rent one and wear it for a day. I though about buying one, but they are so expensive! and I'm not sure when I could wear it anyway.

Still in Japan but something different. By the time we booked our trip, the only hotels available in Kyoto were really expensive, so we booked one in Seta, about 25 minutes from Kyoto's main station. The train service works really good, and there were a train to Kyoto every 10-15min, so it wasn't a big problem.

Aunque no es la tipica foto, todavia es de Japon. Cuando reservamos el viaje ya no quedaban hoteles de precio razonable en Kyoto, asi que tuvimos que coger un en Seta, a unos 25 minutos de la estacion principal de Kyoto. El servicio de trenes funciona muy bien, y habia trenes a Kyoto cada 10-15min, asi que no fue un gran problema.

Dragons are an important emblem of the Japanese culture, and can find them in every temple. This one was in our hiking in Kumara. It was a lovely area, and it wasn't crowded at all. But be prepared to climb all the stairs.

Los dragones son un simbolo en la cultura japonesa, y estan presente en todos los templos. Este lo vimos durante nuestro paseo en Kumara. Una zona muy bonita y sin mucha gente. Pero preparate para subir escaleras.

Since the cherry trees were already loosing its flowers, the floor was full of its petals.

We went to Arashiyama area to see the Bamboo grove, although I liked much more the walk along the river. There were still many cherry trees in blossom that made the landscape more beautiful. Certainly a nice place to draw.

Fuimos a la zona de Arashiyama para ver el bosque de bambu, aunque a mi me gusto mas el paseo al lado del rio. Ademas, aun habia muchos cerezos en flor que le daban un toque muy bonito al paisaje.
