day 331
A friend ask us to help her with some pictures she needed for a presentation. We enjoyed it a lot! Although we realized we need to update our cameras and buy, at least, new lenses.
As their faces show, these dogs were having a great time playing with each other.

day 318
Kimonos are beautiful! If I ever return to Japan, I will at least rent one and wear it for a day. I though about buying one, but they are so expensive! and I'm not sure when I could wear it anyway.

day 314
We went to Arashiyama area to see the Bamboo grove, although I liked much more the walk along the river. There were still many cherry trees in blossom that made the landscape more beautiful. Certainly a nice place to draw.

day 310
After the "cherry blossom hunting", it was turn of kimonos and geishas. And the best place for it was the neighborhood of Gion. It took us a while, but we finally met this couple of friends dressed as geishas. We had to "fight" with all the other tourists trying to get a good shoot too, but we got several nice pictures. This is one of my favorites. It's possible to see the back of one of them and the detail of her neck, and also see the face of the other one.

day 307
Finally in Japan! We've been 10 days in Kyoto, although the first and last day we were in Osaka, since it's closer to the airport.
Since it still was the cherry blossom period, the first thing we did was going to see it, before all the flowers dissapered. But actually, we got to see during many days, depending on the area.
This is Osaka's castle.

day 285
I know we are back in Singapore, but there are still a few more pictures we took in our trip in the Cameron Highlands I'd like to share, like this little bell in the Chinese temple we visited the first day.

day 282
We were very lucky, since we were able to see an open Rafflesia flower. The Rafflesia flower is a huge flower that last 5 days, and it takes it 3 years to grow. They are "pollinate" by the blue fly. Finally the flies are useful for something, hehe!
And the name... Raffles was everywhere! Apparently he had not enough with building Singapore, he also had time to make an expedition to find this flowers.
I post two for picture for you to see how is the whole flower and how big it is.

day 240
Chinatown was so crowded when we went on Sunday before CNY! The Festive Street Bazaar was probably one of the reasons. It was full of traditional new year's groceries; and apparently, different colors of pumpkin seeds is one of them.
