These colorful fabrics around the... how it's called this part of the boat? Anyway, there were also fabrics around some statues and also trees. I assume it's for protection or some similar believe.

Estas telas de colores alrededor de... cómo se llama esa parte del barco? En cualquier caso, también había telas alrededor de algunas estatuas e incluso árboles. Supongo que es un tipo de protección o alguna creencia similar.

The elephant is one of the emblems of Thailand. Most of the tours included a ride elephant, but we didn't do it, since we both love animals. We had to pick up some people after their ride, and had the chance to see the elephants, and I was really glad of our decision. I don't think I would have enjoyed it. But I did bought a few things with elephant design :)

Los elefantes son uno de los simbolos de Tailandia. La mayoria de los tours incluyen un paseo en elefante, pero nosotros no lo cogimos, ya que a los dos nos gustan mucho los animales. Como tuvimos que recoger a gente que si que lo habia hecho, tuvimos la oportunidad de ver a los elefantes de cerca, y me alegro de nuestra decision. No creo que hubiera disfrutado del paseo. Eso si, compre varias cosas con dibujos de elefantes :)

During a walk on the beach at sunset, we saw a local retrieving a fish net.

Durante un paseo por la playa a ultima hora de la tarde, habia pescadores recogiendo las redes.

One day we rented a scooter, so we could travel around on our own. It was very fun, despite for the fine we got... Apparently we did need the license to drive, even though we asked it several times before renting. But according to the police, it had to be an international one, so our European or American would have been useless. Anyway, it was less than $15....
Besides that, it was fun and we enjoyed the landscape, and had the chance to stop in several places, like in one of the many rubber trees plantation, which I found very interesting.

Un dia alquilamos una moto, para poder una vuelta por los alrededores. Fue divertido, a pesar de la multa que nos pusieron.... Por lo visto si que hacia falta llevar el carnet de conducir, aunque nos habian dicho que no cuando preguntamos al alquilarlo. Segun la policia, tenia que ser un carnet internacional, asi que no hubieran servido de mucho aunque lo hubieramos tenido. De todas formas, fue poco mas de 10 euros...
En cualquier caso, lo pasamos bien y disfrutamos del paisaje y pudimos parar en varios sitios, como en uno de los mucho plantaciones de arboles de recoleccion de caucho, que me parecio muy interesante.

I liked this longtails very much until I got into one. Why? The tour to Hong Island was late, so we went very fast, and we ended up totally soaked. Luckily, our cameras were in a waterproof bag. But we didn't enjoy the day very much.

Estos barcos (longtails) me gustaban mucho hasta que nos montamos en uno. Como el tour para ir a Hong Island llevaba retraso, fuimos muy deprisa, y acabamos todos totalmente chorreando. Menos mal que llevabamos las camaras en una bolsa impermeable. Pero despues de eso no disfrutamos mucho del resto del dia.

2x1 today. I guess I could have done a composition or something so it was only one picture... Maybe I'll do it.
One of the beaches was full of little marble crabs, who hided in the sand, forming these tiny sand balls.

Hoy 2x1. Supongo que podria haber juntado las dos para que fuera solo una... a lo mejor lo hago luego.
Una de las playas estaba llena de cangrejos pequenitos que se escondian en la arena, dejando esas bolitas de arena.

We finally got a good picture of this kind of spider! There are many also here in Singapore, and used to saw a lot of them at the Botanic Garden when we just first arrived, but by the time we took our cameras, they were gone! I guess we had to go to Thailand :P

Por fin una buena foto de este tipo de araña! Las hay tambien aqui en Singapur, y vimos muchas nada mas llegar en el Botanic Garden, pero para cuando fuimos con las camaras, habian desaparecido! Supongo que teniamos que ir a Tailandia :P

We've been in Krabi (Thailand) during Christmas holidays, so beautiful! We got there in the late afternoon, but had time to see the sunset :)

Hemos estado unos dias en Krabi (Tailandia), durante las vacaciones de Navidad. Que bonito! Llegamos alli por la tarde, asi que pudimos ver la puesta de sol :)
